The conceptual proposal for the Fort Worth Water Gardens was inspired by a moment in nature. The lighting design mimics the sparkling effect of the moonlight's reflection in the ocean. It resembles it adding color and life to an architectural wonder. This conceptual design was made while completing my minor in lighting at TCU.

The design maintains the main focus in the central pool by introducing LEDs that change color through a clear resin. This  attracts the user to go down and enjoy the waterfalls from the center of the installation. In addition, the design lights the stairs from the bottom to make people feel more comfortable when going down to the central pool at night.

Light on every step edge illuminates the water cascading down giving the sparkle effect desired.  The perimeter rim is outlined with light delimiting the spectacle of light and water.
