La Tribu Taína is a restaurant that combines flavors from  Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Spain and Ecuador. The interior and image design of the restaurant is inspired by the Tainos, indigenous people from the Caribbean and North of South America. This inspiration results in warm colored environments and the use of natural materials to represent the world of the Tainos.

 

The project included the lighting design for the entire restaurant: ground floor, 1st floor and its exterior porche. Besides the interior lighting scheme design, some luminous elements and luminaires were designed and customized for the restaurant. Among these were luminaires made from wicker and bamboo, cabuya woven coverings for the bar ceiling and illuminated bamboo planters.
