El Encuentro Church

The lighting proposal for El Encuentro Church includes the lighting scheme for the building's facade, its entrance road, recently renovated pergola, and the interior stage.

The facade highlights the central cross with indirect light communicating the function of the building. The design uses light from below to create a cascade effect that lights the hanging plants and enhance the texture of the stone.

At the entrance to the pergola, light reveals the side gardens to guide the user to the stairs into the church. The pergola portrays a path of light that creates a warm and attractive environment and promotes social interaction.

Inside, the stage displays 3 light sets as the basic structure of the theatre, it includes Fresnel projectors, cycloramas, and spotlights. Each luminaire is color changing and has theatre accessories such as gobos to create texture and dynamic effects. In addition, it proposes two lateral structures to create theatrical dramatic effects.

The conceptual proposal was designed by ValDesignLab.
